Our rocker switch can pass the below tests:

1) solderability test

the top of the terminals shall be dipped 1mm in the solder bath of 240±5℃ for 3±0.5 seconds

2) resistance to soldering heat test reflow soldering conditions:

preheat:temperature on the copper foil surface should reach 180℃.120s after the p.c.b

entered into the soldering equipment. tallest temperature:temperature on the copper foil surface should reach the peak temperature of 260±5℃with in 20 seconds.

3) resistance to soldering heat test

soldering iron method:

bit temperature 330±5℃ application

time of soldering iron3±0.5 sec

however excessive pressure shall not be applied to the terminal

4) humidity test

the jack shall be stored at a temperature

of 40±2℃ and a humidity of 90%to 96% for 96 hr, then the jack shall be maintained at standard atmospheric condition for 1 hr for other procedures

5) Temperature Cycling test

DC Voltage 1.5 times as much as rated voltage shall be applied continuously between adjacent at 60±2℃and 90~95％RH for 500hours, the switch shall be allowed to stand under normal temperature and humidity conditions for 1hour, and measurement shall be made within 1hour

After that, water drops shall be eliminated.

After test contact resistance:100mΩMax, Insulation resistance:10mΩMin, rocker switch shall be free from abnormalities in appearance construction.

6) Salt mist test

The switch shall be checked after following test:

(1) Temperature:35±2℃

(2) Salt solution:5±1％(Solids by mass)

(3) Duration: 24±1hour

After test, salt deposit shall be removed by running water, and no remarkable corrosion

shall be recognized in metal part.

7) Cycle life test

10,000 cycles of operation shall be performed continuously at a rate of 80cycles per minute with
